I am blessed to have worked within the educational nonprofit world for over two decades, throughout which time I have become passionate about helping nonprofits identify organizational goals and strategically craft plans to achieve those goals.

I grew to love these areas as I advanced through numerous leadership positions at Ma’ayanot Yeshiva High School for Girls (a relatively young school when I was there), including serving as Ma’ayanot’s Middle States Accreditation Coordinator, Director of Community Relations, and finally, Director of Development.  It is noteworthy that for these last two positions, I was integral to the decision to create these offices and served as the inaugural director of each as well.

Most recently, I served as Director of Development at SINAI Schools, a network of eight Jewish special education schools located throughout NY and NJ.  In my three years at SINAI Schools, I conceived of and launched numerous programs to ensure SINAI’s future success and sustainability, including a Legacy Circle, Young Leadership Pipeline, and a Corporate Sponsorship program, to name a few.

I am incredibly grateful for my rewarding career in the Jewish nonprofit world, and as such have focused my volunteer activities on helping local nonprofits thrive and grow to their full potential. Currently I serve as a mentor for young nonprofits associated with the OU’s Impact Accelerator program. In the past, I served on the boards of two local Yeshiva Day schools, and as a parent representative on the education committees of each school as well.

My leadership experiences in strategic planning, community relations, marketing and fundraising, coupled with my past experience as a lay leader on two school boards, have allowed me to gain expertise in nonprofit governance best practices, as well as significant experience in working closely with lay and professional leadership, major donors, and foundation personnel.  I love that my role as a nonprofit consultant affords me the opportunity to utilize my decades of experience to help nonprofits in their efforts to grow and have a greater impact within their communities.
